In his previous roles, Drs. Maes was Global Head of Derivatives Technology at Bankers Trust, Head of IT at Rabobank International, CTO of the Internet Investment Bank WITSoundView Europe and Practice Leader Advanced Computing at IBM Global Services.

Drs. Maes holds a doctoral degree in Economics and Computer Science and masters degrees in Artificial Intelligence and in Applied Economics from reputed universities
